Meet Austin Moorhead: Musician and Producer

Austin Moorhead is a Nashville-based musician and producer with a rare blend of classical training and commercial versatility. A Master’s graduate of the Yale School of Music he is a two-time prizewinner in the Guitar Foundation of America Competition, the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world. He was the only American in the finals both of those years.

His performance career spans from Broadway shows to national television, including a featured role alongside James Corden in One Man, Two Guvnors and appearances in numerous other Broadway productions. As a live and touring guitarist, he has toured with major-label Nashville artists such as Carly Pearce, Maddie & Tae, Jana Kramer, and Mickey Guyton, with TV appearances on Good Morning America, the CMA Awards, and the Today Show.

In the studio, Austin brings the same musical depth to his production work, collaborating with a wide range of artists to create emotionally resonant and sonically rich records. He continues to balance live performance and touring with a growing body of work as a producer in the heart of Music City.
